IELTS
(International English Language Testing System)

If you are a person with good English and abilities, you will not find passing the IELTS test. However, the band score requirement specified by the admitting institutions and universities is stringent and in case of not obtaining the required score at the first attempt, you will only be able to repeat the IELTS test after a gap of three months.

It is therefore important that you prepare yourself for scoring high in the IELT test. You need to know which of the English skills are going to be tested and what the parameters for measuring these skills are going to be.

IELTS - ABOUT RESULT

Results are returned to the candidates within two weeks.
Candidates receive scores on a band scale from 1 to 9.
Candidates receive a score for each module of the test as well as an overall score.
Overall Band Scores and Listening and Reading Band Scores are reported in half bands.Writing and Speaking Band Scores are       reported in whole Bands.
There is no pass or fail mark.
The IELTS Handbook provides a written Interpretation of Results.
Results are valid for two years.
